Two men arrested in connection with several home invasions

Whenever a person in the Fairfield County area is facing criminal charges he or she needs to understand how serious the situation is. Prosecutors are typically looking to get the maximum penalties for those who commit crimes. In order for a person to get the best defense possible he or she needs to act fast.

Authorities have arrested and charged two men in connection with several burglaries and home invasions in the New London area. According to investigators the two men, one who is 20 and the other 19, allegedly used a stun gun in one home where they allegedly stole money from a 91-year-old man. Both men are also facing charges for burglary at an ice cream shop. One of the men was already in police custody on separate charges.

Authorities have not said how they tied the two men to the cases or revealed any evidence they have against the two men at this time. According to reports, the two men are specifically being charged with home invasion and burglary in the first degree for allegedly stealing from at least two homes and the ice cream shop.

These two men obviously are facing stiff penalties if they are convicted of these crimes. When someone is charged with a crime it’s very important to get the necessary legal help as soon as possible. Having an experienced and competent defense attorney who understands the legal process and how to fight these kinds of charges can be the difference in whether or not a person is acquitted or convicted.
