Enfield man facing multiple charges of larceny for alleged thefts

Being arrested and charged with a crime is not the same as being convicted of a crime. Just because you have been arrested and charged, that does not mean you are guilty. Even if authorities claim to have significant evidence against you, that doesn’t mean it will always hold up in court. Therefore, if you have been charged with a crime in the Stamford area, you should fight for your rights

Investigators have arrested an Enfield man for his alleged involvement in a series of thefts that occurred at a Farmington department store, recently. According to court documents, the 34-year-old man’s car was used in each of the thefts that happened at the Nordstrom Rack early this year. Authorities have charged the man with two counts of sixth-degree larceny, and one count each of fifth-degree larceny and failure to appear.

Investigators asked the public for help in solving the four thefts. While authorities claim that a different person was involved in each of the four cases, they say that the man they have arrested was present each time and that his car was used in all four cases. However, authorities have not said what proof they have that this man was actually present.

It will be up to the courts to decide this man’s fate. If convicted, he could face severe penalties, including lengthy prison time. If you, like this man, have been arrested and/or charged with any kind of crime in the Fairfield County area then you should probably seek out the help of an experienced criminal defense attorney to fight for your freedom and rights.
